On arriving at the chalet, you walk straight into the ground floor where you can park your skis and boots for the evening, knowing that in the morning they will be cosy and dry. The modern in-chalet lift will then take you directly to your room or straight into the very spacious and homely living room where you can enjoy your apres-ski drink in our bar area or relax on the soft leather sofas in front of a roaring log fire whilst watching the sunset from the impressive panoramic south facing windows! All of the eight bedrooms are bright, very spacious and are named after local wines, some of which we serve at dinner. All the bedrooms have a TV/video station and the en-suite bathrooms have hairdryers. The bedrooms are furnished in local Savoyard style. As well as fluffy towels, comfy slippers and luxurious bathrobes, we add small extras like free use of Facial Saunas and Foot Sps as well as candles for the ultimate chillout experience. Access to the bedrooms is by lift or stairway.
Two large twin rooms, Crepy and Gamay are accessed from the first floor. One of these twins features click-together beds which can be made up as doubles. On the second floor there are three more large twins, Mondeuse, Chignin and Roussette together with a large double, Chautagne. Two of the twin rooms feature click-together beds which can be made up as doubles. The lounge and bar, which boasts over sixty-six square meters of space in which to relax, takes up most of the third floor. The dining room and kitchen are conveniently adjacent.
On the fourth floor there are two large en-suite bedrooms with mezzanine floors accommodating bunk beds, ideal for families of four (with discounts applicable). Apremont is a double and Abymes is a twin with ‘click-together’ beds which can be made up as a double.
The Sauna... The benefits of using our sauna are numerous. Not least because it is so relaxing and leaves your body soothed and your mind serene. It´s main advantage lies in the fact that it promotes sweating, helping the body to rid itself of toxins. It is also believed that exposure of the skin to heat stimulates the production of white blood cells and strengthens the immune system. The heat and humidity of the sauna also diffuses pain and relaxes tired muscles. It is also believed to improve blood circulation and breathing, promote weight loss (it burns about 300 calories per average session) and aid skin cleansing.
Chalet Hot Tub... There is a fantastic Hot Tub on the south facing terrace as an alternative to or in addition to the Sauna, from where you can appreciate this truly special location whilst sipping a glass of champagne!
Your Chalet Hosts eat dinner with you and live in rooms on the lower ground floors. Chalet Marigold is a non-smoking chalet and ashtrays are provided on balconies for smokers. Please refer to the floor plans when booking as you may wish to select a particular room or floor.
Our chalets are suitable for individuals, couples, small or large groups or families and corporate breaks. Everybody is welcome! We can also offer a 2 week 2 resort holiday from a choice of La Rosière, Sainte Foy, Les Arcs, Meribel and La Plagne.

Typically the pricing for "sole use" chalets are quoted based on the cost of renting the whole chalet, whilst large ski chalets that are not for sole use will usually quote their prices per person, based on 2 people sharing a room. Please note that whilst every effort has been made to accurately display the owners rental rates, mistakes do happen, and rates can be subject to change by the owner. Therefore these rates should be taken as a guide only. Final costing should be agreed and confirmed with the chalet owners direct.
Should you prefer to drive to the Alps, the cost of a car with four passengers averages about £80 per head for a round trip to the Tarentaise Valley nif you live within 200 miles of Dover. The journey should take you no longer than nine hours from Calais. There are a number of different ways to cross the channel which includes the Channel Tunnel which takes approximately 35 minutes, a speed ferry (which can be the most cost effective) which gets you across in 50 minutes or a standard car ferry which normally takes around 90 minutes. Aim for a ferry departure from UK at around 0800 hrs. You should then arrive at the chalet between 1800 and 1900hrs.
The Eurostar train is a great way of travelling and it can be a time efficient and hassle free journey, particularly if it’s easy for you to get to the new St Pancras station, London or Ashford in Kent. It’s a comfortable and relaxing way to get to the Alps without the stress of the airports. There are usually no changes throughout the journey and you arrive in Bourg St. Maurice, only 23kms from the chalet! We will greet you at the station.
Most people find travelling by air the most convenient method of getting to and from the Alps. We offer complimentary airport transfers when booking a 7 day holiday subject to the conditions below.
To ensure our complimentary transfers are available, please book your arrival day flights to arrive in the afternoon (ideally between 2pm and 5pm) and your departure day flights to depart in the morning (ideally between 1pm and 4pm) to/from either Chambery, Grenoble, Lyon or Geneva in that order of preference/distance from chalet. Minibuses on the day of departure will depart no later than 9.30am so if you book flight departing later than 3pm, you will have to wait at the airport. If you are unable to arrange flights within those times, we may be able to arrange private transfers (charges applicable) however we cannot guarantee availability outside of those times. Complimentary transfers are based upon 8 sharing a minibus unless otherwise agreed, minibuses will be allocated to your group accordingly however when there are less than 8 in one minibus we may ask you to share with other guests and we will ensure any wait times will be kept to a minimum. Baby car seats and booster seats can be booked for children and infants (charges applicable). Transfers from/to Bourg St Maurice for the train station are complimentary on arrival/departure days only (charges apply at other times). Early arrivals for an extra day´s skiing can be arranged, please ask for further details (conditions apply). There is no extra discount for self-drive.
