Chalet Dionée is the type of chalet that you'll want to come back to again and again. It is our poshest chalet with lovely furnishings, tastefully designed ensuite bathrooms and a sauna with quick access to the terrace - with perfect roll-in-the-snow potential!
The chalet is situated in the pretty wooded village of Plagne 1800 and is a short walk away from the village centre where there are a couple of shops, a few restaurants and the La Mine pub. You can ski to within 50m of the chalet (in really good conditions you can ski all the way to the front door). We offer an optional complimentary shuttle service to the lifts at Plagne Centre on five mornings where you can also leave your hire equipment in our friendly ski shop (this is a free service for skibug guests).
Chalet Dionée's four bedrooms have beautiful ensuites with sink and relaxing massage shower. Two of the bedrooms are twins and two are doubles. There's two that are inter-connecting, making a perfect family room. There is a further bathroom & wc downstairs.
The bright and spacious living area has loads of comfy seating, a chiminea log fire and a balcony with a beautiful view of the ski area and the valley beyond. There are books, a flatscreen TV with DVDs (including plenty for the kids) and games to keep you entertained. Free Wifi is available throughout the chalet.

Notes on pricings
Typically the pricing for "sole use" chalets are quoted based on the cost of renting the whole chalet, whilst large ski chalets that are not for sole use will usually quote their prices per person, based on 2 people sharing a room. Please note that whilst every effort has been made to accurately display the owners rental rates, mistakes do happen, and rates can be subject to change by the owner. Therefore these rates should be taken as a guide only. Final costing should be agreed and confirmed with the chalet owners direct.
Getting There
Driving to the Alps could be cheaper than you think! With four of you in the car your fuel costs from the French port of Calais will be around £25 per person each way.
P&O and SeaFrance provide ferry crossings from Dover to Calais and Norfolkline provides
ferry crossings from Dover to Dunkerque. It’s about a 9-hour drive from both Calais and Dunkerque to La Plagne. There are free public car-parks very close to each of our chalets in La Plagne 1800.
The ultra-handy Eurostar goes from London straight to the Alps. We provide free transfers in our minibuses to La Plagne from the train stations of Aime or Bourg St Maurice. Journey times from Aime to La Plagne - 30 mins. Journey times from Bourg st. Maurice to La Plagne - 45mins.
We provide free airport transfers in our minibus from: Chambery (1.5 hours from La Plagne); Grenoble, Lyon or Geneva (each about 2.5 hours) (all times are for normal traffic conditions).
Free airport transfers are subject to availability so please check with us before you book your flights and aim to arrive in the afternoon (between 2pm and 5pm) and depart the following week in the early afternoon (between 1pm and 3pm).
There is a free car park close to the chalet.
