Chalet la Coccinelle can accommodate either one large group or several smaller groups looking for a sociable skiing holiday. The chalet has a fantastic layout over three floors and loads of living space to accommodate all 18 guests. The warm and roomy entrance hall has room for everyone's ski and board equipment to be stored.
The chalet has a great location amongst trees in the pretty wooded village of Plagne 1800. At the front of the chalet is a track that leads you, after a few minutes' walk (about 50m), to a blue piste (Loup Garou). From the bottom of this run you can take the new (for 09/10) Melezes and then Bergerie chairlifts that drop you above Plagne Villages, or take the 1800 chair that drops you just below Aime 2000 - basically you're in the heart of the ski area. At the end of the day you can ski back down the blue run and walk along the track back to the chalet. If you're not ready for blue runs (or don't fancy the walk) you can leave your hired equipment at our ski shop in Plagne Centre and catch the regular (and free) public bus.
An optional free shuttle service from the chalet to Plagne Centre is available on five mornings if you leave your hire equipment in the shop overnight (this is a free service just for Skibug guests) or if you're meeting your ski school class in Plagne Centre. The shuttle runs until 10am.
Chalet la Coccinelle has five twin bedrooms, one double and two triple bedrooms. The chalet is being completely refurbished this summer with new fixtures and fittings throughout giving it a new lease of life whilst retaining its traditional chalet features including a large open-plan dining and lounge area with log fire and plenty of comfy sofas to accommodate all 18 guests. There is an honesty bar that stocks beers, soft drinks & snacks, loads of books and DVDs (including plenty for the kids) and a few games to keep you entertained. There's even an in chalet sauna in which to soothe your weary body after a day on the slopes. A large balcony provides stunning views across the valley and there is plenty of outside space for the kids to play in the snow.
Chalet la Coccinelle is a few minutes' walk from the centre of Plagne 1800 where there is a small supermarket, a tabac and a couple of restaurants. The La Mine pub is a ten minute walk away.

Typically the pricing for "sole use" chalets are quoted based on the cost of renting the whole chalet, whilst large ski chalets that are not for sole use will usually quote their prices per person, based on 2 people sharing a room. Please note that whilst every effort has been made to accurately display the owners rental rates, mistakes do happen, and rates can be subject to change by the owner. Therefore these rates should be taken as a guide only. Final costing should be agreed and confirmed with the chalet owners direct.
