Additional information

This newly refurbished first floor chalet apartment is located in the centre of Val d'Isere just a minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants and bars.  The free ski bus goes from outside the front door should the two minute walk to the bottom of the slopes be too much in your ski boots!

The chalet comprises a double bedroom with ensuite shower/WC.  There is a bunk room with pull out bed to make the bottom bunk into a double bed.  Separate bathroom and WC.  The living room/kitchen is open plan with a south facing balcony overlooking the Solaise mountain and a double sofa bed.

The chalet has been refurbished over the summer of 2010 - a brand new kitchen, shower room and furniture.  We have installed UK freeview tv, wifi internet and a games console is available on request.

Bookings include FREE private airport transfer and FREE private lesson, on or off piste on skis or a snowboard.

Notes on pricings

Typically the pricing for "sole use" chalets are quoted based on the cost of renting the whole chalet, whilst large ski chalets that are not for sole use will usually quote their prices per person, based on 2 people sharing a room. Please note that whilst every effort has been made to accurately display the owners rental rates, mistakes do happen, and rates can be subject to change by the owner. Therefore these rates should be taken as a guide only. Final costing should be agreed and confirmed with the chalet owners direct.

Getting There

Driving is a great option especially for families. It is approximately 560 miles from Calais to Val d'Isere. Fast roads, light traffic, breathtaking
scenery; driving in France is a joy.

From Calais towards Reims,
Dijon, Lyon and finally towards
the mountains the route can be
done in one go or stop overnight
at a motorway motel en-route.

Expect to pay about €70 in tolls each way BUT there are no worries of flight delays, excess baggage fees PLUS you can stock up on supplies from home or en-route and then duty free shop on your way home again!

We have an underground parking slot available for you to use free of charge here in Val d'Isere if you decide to drive.

The Eurostar is a great option. Take the Eurostar services from London St Pancras or Ashford International in Kent DIRECT to Bourg St Maurice
nestled at the foot of the
mountain road up to Val d'Isere.

Travel time from the UK can be
as little as 7 hours.

The main advantage if you take the
overnight service Ski Train is that you get
extra time on the slopes. Alternative options include the
services via Paris.

If you decide to travel this way let us know and we'll come pick you up from Bourg St Maurice! Depending on traffic it can take from 30 mins to drive the 20 miles up to Val d'Isere.

NEW Eurostar times are online now - new train times mean you can nnow arrive in time to catch the first lifts on your first Saturday and ski until the last lifts on your final Saturday - 8 FULL days skiing without missing any extra work days, heaven!

This represents the easiest, quickest and most flexible option. Val d'Isere is about 2.45hours away from Geneva International Airport by car. The roads to and from Val d'Isere and the airport are the livelihood of the resort therefore are kept clear and moving except under the very worst of traffic / weather conditions. In comparison by transfer coach the journey is often 4+ hours.

Geneva International Airport (GVA) offers flights from all over the UK (and elsewhere of course). Over 18 destinations up and down the UK connect to Geneva, Belfast to Bristol, London to Liverpool, and whether you chose Easyjet, BMI or British Airways there are many airlines to choose from. Geneva may not be the only airport you can chose from, Grenoble, Chambery and Lyon all offer alternatives. Many flight options on multiple routes and with multiple airlines connect to these airports and it is worth noting that transfering by car (as you would do so with Fresh Chalets) means there is not much difference in transfer time from these other airports, just, and it is a big 'just,' there are fewer flight options. For this reason Geneva is our chosen hub. Please contact us should you wish / need to fly to another regional airport as mentioned above and we shall attempt to tailor your plans with our schedule!

Look at our website for further details on flight times from airports around the UK

We have an underground parking slot available for you to use free of charge here in Val d'Isere if you decide to drive.
