Chalet Michelle is situated in the beautiful unspoilt village of Venosc, with stunning views across the Veneon Valley to the Muzelle glacier and the Ecrins National Park. It is ideally positioned for both summer and winter activities.

The resort of Les 2 Alpes is just a 7 minute gondola ride away and the town of Alpe d'Huez only 25 minutes by car.

An authentic and charming artisan village, Venosc offers unusual and interesting shops, restaurants and bars set along its narrow cobbled streets.

Chalet Michelle can very comfortably accommodate 6-10 people along with the two owners Bryan & Michelle who live in and make sure your holiday experience is unrivalled with great food great company and the best guiding in the Alps.

Notes on pricings

Typically the pricing for "sole use" chalets are quoted based on the cost of renting the whole chalet, whilst large ski chalets that are not for sole use will usually quote their prices per person, based on 2 people sharing a room. Please note that whilst every effort has been made to accurately display the owners rental rates, mistakes do happen, and rates can be subject to change by the owner. Therefore these rates should be taken as a guide only. Final costing should be agreed and confirmed with the chalet owners direct.

Getting There

At Grenoble – after the Peage (toll) - stay south (the outside lanes) on A480 towards Eybens, Sisteron and Cote d’Azur. (Don’t turn off right into Grenoble).

You will go round the Grenoble by-pass (Rocade Sud) turn south (right) at Junction 8 (after the Comboire Retail park at junc 6/7) onto N85 towards Vizille (Briancon) and the Oisan valleys.

Its about 25Km from Vizelle to the town of Bourg d'Oisans - stay on the main road following signs to Les Deux Alpes and Briancon, turn left at the roundabout as you come into Bourg d’Oisans. This is the bypass round the town – you can go straight through the town as well if you wish.

Approx 5 Km after Bourg d'Oisans in the small hamlet of le Clapier take a right turn to La Berarde and Venosc the D530.

Follow the road straight past les Ougiers (red shuttered cycling hotel on left), after another 3km you will arrive in Venosc - just as you reach the village take a hard left, uphill back on yourself signposted “VENOSC VILLAGE ARTISINAL”(If you come to a big car park and ski lift building you have missed the turn!!!) start climbing towards La Ville / le Collet and the church (l'Eglise)

As you climb the steep hill, 50 m after the Venosc sign do not go straight on at the 2^nd hairpin but continue round to the left up the hill. 2 hairpins later you should see the church on your right, 2 more hairpins will bring you up to La Ville. Just before the signboard on the telegraph pole ' La Ville CNE DE VENOSC' park in the big parking bay on your right.

The chalet is on your left.

Grenoble rail station is about 50 minutes away. There are numerous coach transfers from there to Bourg d'Oisans where we can pick you up.

Grenoble airport is only 1.25 hours away; Lyon is 1.75 hours away. Please ask us to quote for an airport pickup in our luxury 8 seater minibus from/to these locations. Easyjet and Ryanair fly to Grenoble and Lyon.
