For those who know and love Grimentz, La Légende is the ideal – the chalet they would create for themselves if they only could. Centuries old and lovingly restored, La Légende is situated in the heart of the old village (and just a 2 minute walk from the ski lift).
The chalet is finished to the highest standards combining authenticity and charm with modern convenience. Suitable for parties of 4 to 6 people, there are three guest bedrooms (1 double and two twins) with two bathrooms.
The open plan kitchen with dining area leads to the comfortable salon with a TV and DVD player, a small library of films, an i-Pod docking station and a selection of board games. Wireless internet is available throughout the chalet.
The centre-piece is the living room’s “pierre ollaire” an old stone wood-burning stove, which warms the chalet beautifully.

Notes on pricings
Typically the pricing for "sole use" chalets are quoted based on the cost of renting the whole chalet, whilst large ski chalets that are not for sole use will usually quote their prices per person, based on 2 people sharing a room. Please note that whilst every effort has been made to accurately display the owners rental rates, mistakes do happen, and rates can be subject to change by the owner. Therefore these rates should be taken as a guide only. Final costing should be agreed and confirmed with the chalet owners direct.
Getting There
Grimentz is an easy 2 hour drive from Geneva airport: 1.5 hours on motorway to Sierre and then 30 minutes up the mountain road to the village.
From Calais you should allow 9 hours driving time.
There are regular trains direct from Geneva airport to Sierre station (just over 2 hours).
There are also regular trains from Zurich airport, with one change en route (about 2 hrs 20 mins)
From Sierre there is an excellent bus service or we can arrange a taxi for you.
Sion airport is just 45 minutes from Grimentz and has weekend flights with SnowJet throughout the winter.
Geneva airport is the most popular hub with many flights a day year round.
Zurich and Milan Malpensa airports are also within easy range of Grimentz.
The chalet has its own garage for one car and an outdoor parking space.
