Additional information

La Petite Ecole began life as part of a nineteenth century village school. It has been painstakingly renovated to provide a warm and welcoming home-from-home feel with a touch of luxury.

The chalet is situated only 150 metres from the La Roche pistes (blue and red) and six man chairlift so it's just a short stroll for you to access the huge Paradiski area of La Plagne and Les Arcs.

A double bedroom, a twin room and a bunk room sleeping two, two bathrooms with WCs.

Ideal for exclusive use for a family or a small group of friends.

Large sociable open plan living and dining area situated on the first floor with vaulted ceilings and stunning views.

With boot warmers provided, you can be assured of a dry comfortable start to the day.

Any aches and pains you have after a hard days skiing or boarding can be eased in the jacuzzi bath or a steaming power shower. Then relax on comfortable sofas with a glass of wine around the log burning stove while we prepare delicious home cooked food.

After dinner you can retire to the living room to relax and enjoy a selection of books, games, DVDs, Nintendo Wii, films and satellite TV.

For those of you with any energy left you can relax at the local bar and restaurant or we will be happy to chauffeur you to and from the resort where you can sample the local nightlife.

Notes on pricings

Typically the pricing for "sole use" chalets are quoted based on the cost of renting the whole chalet, whilst large ski chalets that are not for sole use will usually quote their prices per person, based on 2 people sharing a room. Please note that whilst every effort has been made to accurately display the owners rental rates, mistakes do happen, and rates can be subject to change by the owner. Therefore these rates should be taken as a guide only. Final costing should be agreed and confirmed with the chalet owners direct.

Getting There

Driving to La Plagne from Calais is very simple and takes approximately ten hours and costs around €80 in road tolls. If you wish we can provide you with detailed directions

Take the Eurostar (ski train) direct to Aime La Plagne from which it is a fifteen minute drive to La Roche (we provide a free transfer for groups of 6 or more or can help arrange alternatives for smaller groups) www.eurostar.com.

Several low cost airlines offer flights to the following airports which are within easy reach of La Plagne:

Chambery (1 hr 30 min transfer)
Geneva International (2 hr 15 min transfer)
Grenoble (2 hr 30 min transfer)
Lyon (2 hr 30 min transfer)

We provide a free group transfer to the chalet for groups of 6 or more if required. Before booking your flight please contact us to check transfer times from the airports.
