Chalet Kammleitn is a traditional chalet, nestled in a tiny hamlet close to the ski resort of Nassfeld, providing everything you want, and more, from your winter and summer, alpine holiday. We have created a haven where you will be as happy staying “at home” as you are out and about in. Delicious food and wine in abundance, goes without saying, as do comfortable rooms, roaring log fires, and a welcoming environment. So when we say ’home from home’, here at Chalet Kammleitn, we really mean it.

We are just a 3 minute drive (approx. 2km) from The Millennium Express, the gondola with the largest lift line of the entire Austrian Alps, transporting you to an altitude of over 2000 meters in only 17 minutes.

Chalet Kammleitn has been newly renovated, and offers our guests a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All bedrooms are equipped with en-suite facilities. We have a selection of twin, triple and quad rooms, all with balcony on the first floor, whilst every room has spectacular mountain or piste views.

Prices are based on Chalet Board – breakfast and afternoon tea every day, evening meal and wine 6 times per week. On Chef’s night off, why not try out some of the excellent restaurants in Hermagor or Tropolach - we can even reserve your table, and book your taxi for you!

Our substantial buffet-style breakfast is typically Austrian, with a selection of cereals, yoghurts, local cold meats, cheese and fresh bread, boiled eggs, fruit juice and freshly brewed coffee and a selection of teas.

After an exhilarating day out on the slopes, head back home to Chalet Kammleitn, and sit around the roaring Log Fire, whilst tucking into your well-earned Afternoon Tea - we offer you a selection of teas, freshly brewed coffee, hot chocolate or Gluhwein, plus of course, the days' freshly made cakes.

Your evening meal is served in our relaxed and spacious Dining Room, with its beautiful hand-carved ceiling. This the ideal place for guests to meet up and discuss their days' skiing, whilst enjoying a well-earned, freshly, home-made four course evening meal, with daily salad bar, and good quality house wine. Vegetarians are also catered for; please advise at time of booking.
