The Bohinj Ski Area includes Slovenian ski resorts with a combined total of 92 individual pistes. The Bohinj ski resorts are located high up in the Julian Alps and is strategically located in the middle of the Triglav National Park. The views from these ski resorts are spectacular, with plenty of sunshine whilst skiing/snowboarding.
You can ski or snowboard in any of the ski resorts of Bled, Kobla , Kravavec, Soriska Planina, and Vogel. These ski resorts offer plenty of varied skill levels of skiing/snowboarding. Kravavec, Vogel and Soriska Planina now have snow park for the experienced snowboarders.
Bohinj ski area is highly rated by snowboarders and skiers alike, it provides plenty of varied skill levels from beginners to the very experienced.
The Julian Alps in Slovenia are at the extreme eastern side of the European Alps. The mountain range comprises many magnificent peaks, including the mighty Triglav, the three headed mountain at 2864m, which rules over the diversified range below including Razor (2601m), Mangart (2679m), Spik (2472m) and Jalovec (2645m).
The main resort of the region is Kranjska Gora. Kranjska is the hub of the region and is fast earning its reputation as a major tourism and sports domaine, famed primarily for its World Cup competitions in alpine skiing.
