Bulgaria has long been an established favourite for UK skiers. The few resorts are vibrant, up-and-coming ski destinations. Despite the limited choice of ski resorts, their competitive pricing offers affordable ski holidays. The picturesque towns are extremely family friendly, with fantastic dining and après-ski facilities. Over recent years Bulgaria has become more westernised, and this has led to a rise in the cost of living – but the resorts continue to offer great value for money, particularly when compared to France and Switzerland.
The skiing in Bulgaria is fantastic for beginners and intermediates alike. There is, however, less on offer for advanced and off-piste skiers.
