Chalets in Les Gets

Les Gets is a small, family-friendly resort offering all levels of skiers and boarders a fantastic experience in its own right.  With direct links to Morzine, Les Gets also forms part of the Portes du Soleil ski area (in the Haute Savoie region) which is huge. The vast ski area is enough to offer everyone a great ski experience, with the ability to village- hop and even country-hop for lunch. In total, the Portes du Soleil area offers 650 km of piste to explore. However, it should be noted that Les Gets lies on the edge of the Alps at a lower elevation than most of the Portes du Soleil resorts. Consequently, snow conditions cannot be guaranteed and the season is somewhat shorter. The town is partly car free and traditional in style. There are plenty of good quality restaurants and drinking houses. Les Gets has 65 groomed trails that can be accessed by using the 53 lifts; 5 of these are gondolas. There is a terrain park at Les Gets and cross country skiing over 18 kms.
