Ski Chalets in Serre Chevalier

Serre Chevalier is a friendly and good value resort with a fine range of pistes to suit any skier or boarder.  One of the resort's features is the runs through the larch forests of the lower mountains (a rarity in the French Alps) which ensures potentially good skiing even in poor weather.  The open slopes and bowls are great fun in the resort's predominantly sunny conditions.  The 115 marked pistes, ranging from 1200 - 2800 metres, provide access to skiers of all abilities, and are accessed by numerous ski lifts.

The resort nightlife is low key, and the mix of rustic and modern ambience in the various villages is somewhat offset by heavy traffic along what is the main Grenoble-Briançon road.
